2. Answer: (a) Yes, Bangabandhu inspired India to help Bangladesh with his charismatic leadership. His personality moved the Indian Prime Minister to extend her support during the Liberation War. Her country played an active role to convince the global leaders about the sufferings and rights of the Bangalee people. Then finally, the country sent its armed forces to fight a frontal war against Pakistan in order to free Bangladesh of its brutal rule.
(b) Bangabandhu's strong personality made him ask for any clarification from any world leader. With his foresightedness, courage and mental strength, he made a query to the Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi when she would withdraw her army from Bangladesh. She instantly replied that she would withdraw them any time when he wished. Consequently, the withdrawal was completed even before the next birthday of the Father of the Nation.
(c) Bangabandhu had a policy of making good relationship with all nations irrespective of their ideologies. He was interested to make strong ties with all Islamic countries. That's why, he managed the entry of Bangladesh into OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation). Then he attended its conference at Lahore. Bangabandhu also sent a medical team to Egypt and Syria for the treatment of the war victims of Arab-Israel War. His activeness opened opportunities for promoting trade and other potentials with the Islamic world.
(d) The world leaders had a positive attitude toward Bangabandhu. They admired and respected him. Bangabandhu visited many countries of the world, and cast a very positive influence on their leaders. He had personal relationship with many of them.
(e) Yes, Bangabandhu had unique personality and views that impressed the world leaders. He won the heart of all with his selflessness, courage and greatness. Bangabandhu's philosophy of secular democracy brought him honour from world leaders. His leadership, wisdom and personal relationship with global leaders made him an internationally reputed politician.
(f) Yes, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman believed in peaceful co-existence with all other nations of the world. He wanted to maintain good relationship with all nations irrespective of their capitalist, democratic or socialist ideologies. During his regime, Bangladesh signed pacts with more than seventy countries, and entered different global organizations. Then Bangladesh did not only think about itself, it was also equally concerned about injustice across the world.
