Right form of Verb সুপ্রিয় শিক্ষার্থীরা, শুভেচ্ছা নিও। Right form of Verb English Grammar এর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Item যা মনোযোগ সহকারে অধ্যয়ন করা প্রয়োজন । তাই আজ আমরা অষ্টম শ্রেণির English Second Paper থেকে Right form of Verb এর ব্যবহারের নিয়ম আলোচনা করবো এবং আলোচনা শেষে তোমাদের জন্য থাকছে Worksheet. চলো শুরু করা যাক। গত বুধবারের পর Rule-22: Every, each, one, থাকলে প্রদত্ত verb এর singular form ব্যবহূত হয়। যেমনঃ One of my friends——— (be) an MBBS doctor. Answer: One of my friends is an MBBS doctor. Each of the boys ——— (have) a school diary. Answer: Each of the boys has a school diary. Rule-23: Can, could, shall, should, will, would, may, might, must, need, dare, ইত্যাদি) auxiliary verb হিসেবে ব্যবহূত হলে মূল verb এর Present Indefinite Tense বসে। যেমনঃ He may————- (do) the work alone. Answer: He may do the work alone. He can ——— (accomplish) the task. Answer: He can accomplish the task. One should ———— (take) care of one’s health. Answer: One should take care of one’s heath. Rule-24: ব্রাকেটের Verb এর পূর্বের অংশের অর্থাত্ main clause এর verb টি Past Tense এর হলে এবং পরের অংশে next এর পরে কোন সময়ের (next day, next week, next month, next year, ইত্যাদি) উল্লেখ থাকলে ব্রাকেটের Verb পূর্বে would বা should বসে। এক্ষেত্রে ব্রাকেটের verb টির Present form বসে। যেমনঃ Kibria said that he ———— (go) to Jahangirnagar University the next day. Answer: Kibria said that he would go to Jahangirnagar University the next day. The doctor told that the patient ————- (get) well soon. Answer: The doctor told that the patient would get well soon. Rule-25: Am, is, are, was, were, ইত্যাদি to be verb এর passive voice এর ক্ষেত্রে verb এর Past participle form বসে। যেমনঃ Knowledgepeadia is ————- (write) by Md. Mirazul Islam. Answer: The Knowledgepeadia is written by Md. Mirazul Islam. The letter ———- (send) by Nehal Rahman. Answer: The letter was sent by Nehal Rahman. Rule-26: If + Present Indefinite Tense+ Future Indefinite Tense. If clause টি যদি Present Indefinite Tense হয় তাহলে অপরটি (Principal clause টি) Future Indefinite Tense হয়। যেমনঃ If he studies hard, he———— (shine) in life. Answer: If he studies hard, he will shine in life. If you play in the rain, you———— (catch) cold. Answer: if you play the rain you will catch cold. I will not go to play if it ——— (rain). Answer: I will not go to play if it rains. Rule-27: If + Past Indefinite Tense+ past conditional (subject+ would/could/might+ present form of verb). If clause টি Past Indefinite Tense এ থাকলে Principal clause টির (অপর অংশটি) subject এর পরে might/could/ would বসে। + bracket এর verb টির Present form বসে। যেমনঃ If he came to our home, I ———- (go) to play with him. Answer: If he came to our home, I would go to play with him. If he had a computer, he ———— (compose) everything at home. Answer: If he had a computer he could compose everything at home. I would help him if he ———————- (want). Answer: I would help him if he wanted. Rule-28: If+ Past Perfect Tense+ Perfect Conditional (Subject + would have/could have/ might have+ Past Participle form of verb. If clause টি Past Tense এ থাকলে অপর অংশটির (principal clause টি) subject এর পর would have/could have/ might have বসে এবং bracket এর verb টির past participle form বসে। যেমনঃ If I had seen him, I ————— (tell) him the matter. Answer: If I had seen him, I would have told him the matter. If you had studied more attentively, you————- (obtain) more marks. Answer: If you had studied more attentively, you would have obtained more marks. I would have brought a mule if you —————— (tell) me before. Answer: I would have brought a mule if you told me before. Rule-29: Had +Subject+ Past Participle দ্বারা কোন Sentence শুরু হলে Perfect conditional হয় অর্থাত্ Subject এর পর would have / could have / might have বসে + bracket এর verb এর past participle form বসে। যেমনঃ Had I been a bird, I ————- (fly) in the sky. Answer: Had I been a bird I would have flown in the sky. Had he been there he————- (negotiate) the problem. Answer: Had he been the he would have negotiated the problem. Rule-30: দুটি clause এর মধ্যে যেটিতে if + subject + were থাকে অপরটি (pincipal clause) Subject এর পরে might /would/could বসে এবং bracket verb এর present form বসে। যেমনঃ If I were a bird, —————-I (fly). Answer: If I were a bird, I would fly. If I were you I————- (not do) the work. Answer: If I were you I would not do the work. If I were a king, I ——— (help) the poor. Answer: If I were you, I would help the poor.
