Imperative sentence
Rule- 30: Never দিয়ে আরম্ভ হলে let never বসে।
Never tell a lie.
® Let never a lie be told.
Never go home.
Never do the work
Never eat more than one thing.
® Let never more than one thing for lunch be eaten.
Rule- 31: By ছাড়া on, to, at, with বসে।
I know you.
®You are known to me.
The boy annoyed the ox (annoyed ® বিরক্ত).
® The ox was annoyed with the boy.
The news shocked him.
® He was shocked at the news.
The teacher pleased us all.
® We were all pleased with the teacher.
N.B. ব্যক্তিবাচক object এর পূর্বে with বসে।
বস্তুবাচক object এর পূর্বে at in বসে।
Know verb এর পর to বসে।
Exercise:
He knows me very well.
I am very well known to him.
The book contains many things.
Many things are contained in the book.
Rule- 32: One should যুক্ত active হলে passive করার নিয়ম:
Structure: object ® sub + should be+ v.p.p + by
One should take care of one’s health.
® Health should be taken care of.
One should help the poor.
® The poor should be helped.
Ones should keep one’s promises.
® Promises should be kept.
Active: one should take care of one’s education.
Passive: Education should be taken care of.
