Word বা শব্দ বাক্যের প্রধান উপাদান। তাই স্বল্প সময়ে শব্দভাণ্ডারকে অনেক শক্তিশালী করার জন্য দরকার Short cut কৌশল অবলম্বন। তোমাদের শব্দভাণ্ডারকে সমৃদ্ধ করার জন্য Word Builder নামে একটি কলাম খোলা হলো অনুশীলন পাতার ইংরেজি school বিভাগে । পর্যায়ক্রমে, স্বল্প সময়ে, অসংখ্য শব্দ কিভাবে তৈরি ও রপ্ত করা যায় তার কৌশল নিয়ে লেখাটি তৈরি করেছেন রাজউক উত্তরা মডেল কলেজের প্রভাষক এম জিয়াউর রহমান
Noun শব্দের পর “Prone” শব্দটি ব্যবহার করলে কোন কিছু “প্রবণ” অর্থে অসংখ্য শব্দ তৈরি করা যায়। যেমন:
1. Accident-prone (দুর্ঘটনাপ্রবণ)
The area near the airport is an accident-prone area. (যেখানে প্রায়ই দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে)।
2. Flood-prone (বন্যাপ্রবণ) (প্রায়ই বন্যা ঘটে এমন)
Many areas in Bangladesh are flood-prone.
3. Calamity- prone (দুর্যোগপ্রবণ)
Our country is geographically located in a calamity-prone region.
4. Earth-quake-prone (ভূমিকম্প প্রবণ)
Japan is an earth-quake-phone country.
5. Famine-prone (দুর্ভিক্ষপ্রবণ) Kurigram is a famine-prone area where Monga occurs almost every year.
6. Corruption-prone (দুর্নীতিপ্রবণ)
7. Terrorism-prone (সন্ত্রাসপ্রবণ) The world has now become a terrorism-prone place.
8. Violence-prone (সংঘর্ষপ্রবণ) We do not expect a violence- prone educational campus anymore.
9. Drought-prone (খরাপ্রবণ)
10. Erosion-prone (ভাঙ্গনপ্রবণ)
