Admit of (বিবেচিত হওয়া) — Your conduct admits of no excuse. Admit to (ভর্তি হওয়া)—I was admitted to Dhaka Residential Model College. Adverse to (প্রতিকূল)—The new rule is adverse to our interests. Affection for (স্নেহ)—The authoress had affection for Jerry. Affectionate to (মমতাপূর্ণ)— A Mother cannot but be affectionate to her child. Afraid of (ভীত) —He is not afraid of anybody. Agree on some matter. (কোন বিষয়ে রাজি হওয়া)—I can’t agree with you on this point. Agree to proposal (কোন প্রস্তাবে রাজি হওয়া)—I can’t agree to your proposal. Alarmed/astonished/amazed at( সতর্ক বা বিস্মিত হওয়া) — I was alarmed at his forceful entry. Alien to (বিরোধী)—Flattery is alien to my nature. Alive to (সচেতন) — I am alive to my danger. Alive with (প্রাণবন্ত/ জীবন্ত)— The river is alive with boats. Ambition for (উচ্চাকাঙক্ষা) — Mr. Brown has had ambition for fame. Angry with (রাগান্বিত)—He is angry with his younger brother. Annoyed at (কারো আচরণ এর জন্য বিরক্ত হওয়া)—He is annoyed at your conduct. Annoyed for (কোন কিছুর জন্য কারো প্রতি বিরক্ত হওয়া)—He was annoyed with me for my going there. Answer for (কোন কিছুর জন্য জবাবদিহি করা) — We are to answer to Allah for our actions. Answer to (উত্তর দেওয়া) — We are to answer to Allah for our actions. Antidote to/for/against (প্রতিকার)—Napa is an antidote for fever and headache. Antipathy to ( বিতৃষ্ণা ) —I wondered at his antipathy to social life. Anxious about (চিন্তিত)—Mother is always anxious about my health. Anxious for (আগ্রহশীল)—Father was anxious for the reply. Apologize for (কোন কিছুর জন্য ক্ষমা চাওয়া)—The student apologized to teacher for his misconduct.
